Links customers receive
The pages a customer can open without signing in, and what each one does.
Customers don't have a general sign-in portal. Instead, DropHaul sends them a link that opens one specific page for one specific thing. Nothing else about your account is visible from these links.
- Pay an invoice: a link that opens the invoice's payment page, where the customer can download it or select Pay Now to pay online.
- View a quote: a link that opens a read-only view of a quote you sent. The customer can look it over, but accepting or declining still happens on your side, from the quote's page.
- A shared calendar event: a link to a single event, useful for sharing a specific date and time without giving access to your whole calendar.
- Referral link: a link you can share that shows "X recommends DropHaul" and a link to the DropHaul app, for customers who want to refer someone.
- Reply to a conversation: the link in a text or email from DropHaul opens a page where the customer can read and reply to that conversation, without an account.
- Photo proof of service: a link showing photos taken at a completed stop, for customers who want visual confirmation their site was serviced.
What you'll see
Every one of these links is scoped to a single record, an invoice, a quote, an event, or a conversation. Opening one never shows the customer a list of their other invoices or jobs.
Customers can also unsubscribe from texts and emails from a link at the bottom of any message. See SMS and email opt-out.
If something's not right
- Customer says a link is expired or broken: resend the invoice, quote, or message; each link is tied to that specific record.
- Customer can't pay from the link: check that a payment method (Stripe Connect or QuickBooks Payments) is set up. See Get paid online.
