Job types
The four kinds of job DropHaul tracks, and when to use each.
Every job has one of four types:
- Drop: deliver a unit to a job site.
- Service: service an existing unit on-site.
- Pickup: pick up a unit from a job site.
- Relocate: relocate a unit between sites.
You pick the type when you create a job, and it can't be changed afterward. If you picked the wrong one, cancel the job and create a new one with the right type.
What you'll see
The job type sets the icon and color shown for the job on the dispatch board and calendar, and it's shown on the job detail page. In the type picker, each type shows as a colored pill with its icon and name, no description.
If something's not right
- You picked the wrong type: job type can't be edited after creation. Cancel the job and create a new one with the correct type. See Edit a job after assignment.
